Hard to believe that the final regular season (and final home) game of the 2012 season is Saturday for the Indiana State men’s basketball team.  The Sycamores take on Creighton at 4:05 on a nationally televised game on ESPN 2.  Depending the outcome of other games, Indiana State could get the #3 seed in the MVC Arch Madness conference tournament in St. Louis next week with a win over Creighton, who has already clinched the #2 seed.

It is also senior day for four great seniors who were a big part of ISU’s conference championship team last year, and they deserve a full house to thank them for their hard word and dedication to the ISU basketball program.

Those seniors are:

#15 Carl Richard

# 20 Dwayne Lathan

#24 Jordan Printy

#34 Myles Walker

I’ll be at the Hulman Center Saturday afternoon, hope to see you there!!

Hope you had a great weekend!  Some of you are getting an extended weekend as today is Martin Luther King Day.  If you are able today, take some time and reflect on some of the positive things he did in his life to make this country better.  Some really neat retrospectives all over the web today.

I sure had a great weekend!  after some much needed rest & relaxation on Friday night, we went out Saturday night with several friends to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday.  Nothing like Pizza, bowling, and lots of fun with friends!

Sunday I got up early as usual for Sunday morning basketball. followed by my show on WBOW.  After a power nap and some football watching, I headed down to the Hulman Center for the big white-out game against Wichita State.   I’m proud of the atmosphere at the Hulman Center, and proud of the team for their effort, but Wichita State found a way to pull out the win. – Wichita State Surges Late To Take Win – (Photo from

PS- Is it me or were the refs terrible.  So many missed calls.

Did you see a new movie over the weekend?  Mark Wahlberg grabbed the #1 spot:
