Hope you had a great weekend!  Some of you are getting an extended weekend as today is Martin Luther King Day.  If you are able today, take some time and reflect on some of the positive things he did in his life to make this country better.  Some really neat retrospectives all over the web today.

I sure had a great weekend!  after some much needed rest & relaxation on Friday night, we went out Saturday night with several friends to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday.  Nothing like Pizza, bowling, and lots of fun with friends!

Sunday I got up early as usual for Sunday morning basketball. followed by my show on WBOW.  After a power nap and some football watching, I headed down to the Hulman Center for the big white-out game against Wichita State.   I’m proud of the atmosphere at the Hulman Center, and proud of the team for their effort, but Wichita State found a way to pull out the win.

PS- Is it me or were the refs terrible.  So many missed calls.

One of the big headlines this weekend was the cruise ship disaster in Italy.  Just a terrible tragedy, and now the captain of the ship has been arrested.  Here is the latest.
